Welcome to Cherished Tributes. By using our website (www.cherishedtributes.com) or our Studio service (studio.cherishedtributes.com), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. We are based in Accra, Ghana.

Use of our services

You may use our website and Studio to create, publish, and manage digital memorial tributes in accordance with your chosen package and these terms. You must:

• Provide accurate information when registering or contacting us.
• Keep your account credentials secure and notify us of any unauthorised use.
• Use the services only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe others’ rights or our policies.

Content you provide

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, text, videos, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a licence to host, display, and technically process it as needed to provide the tribute and related services. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use and share that content (including permissions from individuals depicted) and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.

Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• Use the services for fraud, harassment, defamation, or any illegal activity.
• Upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users’ data, or disrupt the services.
• Scrape, copy, or resell our services or content without our written permission.
• Impersonate others or use the services in a way that misleads visitors.

Packages and payment

Package features, limits, and pricing are described on our website and in Studio. Payment terms (including one-time or recurring, refunds, and currency) are as stated at the time of purchase. We may change package offerings or pricing with reasonable notice where applicable.

Intellectual property

Cherished Tributes and our logos, design, and platform technology are our property or our licensors’. You may not use our branding or copy our design without permission. Your tribute content remains yours as stated above.

Disclaimer of warranties

Our services are provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation. We are not liable for loss of data, business, or goodwill beyond what is required by applicable law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or for other operational or legal reasons. You may close your account at any time. Our Data Deletion page explains how to request deletion of your data.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The “Last updated” date will be revised when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes may be communicated via email or a notice on the service where appropriate.
